Managing Director, Catherine Thomas has twenty five years’ experience as an art consultant – managing collections, delivering visionary art programmes and place-making through public art programmes. Her creativity, integrity and extensive knowledge of the art world are combined with strong communication, programme management and design skills. This ensures a bespoke, holistic and professional approach for each client. Catherine leads on all projects and steers the company’s strategy and overall direction.
Creative Producer, Bev Milward has a background in arts management and is an established practicing artist. She has extensive experience curating and delivering exhibitions and events across the arts, including established exhibitions such as the International Ceramic Festival, where she curates the guest exhibition and serves on the Board. She leads on Art Acumen’s public art community engagement activities and delivers bespoke creative events for our public art programmes.
Curator, Sarah Daniels graduated with a first-class Fine Art and Art History degree, before gaining experience with public and commercial galleries. Sarah curates temporary and permanent collections for our corporate clients and helps deliver the supporting art engagement programmes, including programming artists talks and workshops, content for digital platforms and printed catalogues.

Curator, Jo Howe has over fifteen years’ experience managing corporate collections, advising clients on artwork rental programmes and producing audits for large collections. Jo holds a BA in History of Art from The University of Bristol, with previous roles at Bonhams and art consultancies in London and Sydney. Jo manages our art audit and valuation work.

Associate, Mari-Ruth Oda is a Curator / Sculptor / Ceramicist and Designer, living and working in the UK. She was born in Papua New Guinea and lived in Bangkok, Tokyo, Belgrade and New York before moving to the UK. She has worked all over the globe and her art has been exhibited internationally including the Royal Academy of Arts London, Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park in Japan, Musée de Carouge in Switzerland and the Victoria & Albert Museum of London. Mari leads on Art Acumen’s applied arts arts projects.
Associate, Devon Nocera has a background in communications and brand partnerships with companies including Moët Hennessy, La Prairie and Vogue. Following her passion for art, Devon earned a Master’s degree in Art Business from Southerby’s Institute of Art where she wrote her dissertation examining the impact of artificial intelligence and the art world. Devon advises on Art Acumen’s strategic communications and partnerships
