Managing Director of Art Acumen, Catherine Thomas, was invited to speak at the Workplace Wellbeing by Design digital conference to discuss CREATIVITY, PRODUCTIVITY & DIVERSITY. This major event questioned the new ‘workplace’ and explored a range of ‘soft’ and ‘hard’ issues around innovation and human centred workplace culture and design.

Catherine’s talk focused on the value of a creative culture in the workplace and how to harness creativity as a workplace tool for supporting well-being & engagement, innovation and diversity. The talk was informed by twenty years’ experience and underpinned by Art Acumen’s recent white paper The Role of Art Programmes in Developing a Creative Culture for the Workplace.

“In response to our research, evolving workplace cultures and employee needs, Art Acumen has developed a toolkit of options as part of its pioneering art programme Cultivate™ These carefully designed flexible toolkits caters for the individual needs and preferences of organisations of all sizes, placing engagement, discussion, collaboration, creative advancement, new experiences and self expression at the core. This is where we see the future relationship between arts and business (art + people).”

Art Acumen is a workplace art consultancy with twenty years’ experience curating collections, delivering diverse engaging art programmes and large-scale complex art commissions. Integral to the success of all our art programmes and projects is our bespoke approach, the quality of our consultation and our ability to distil these discussions into significant, meaningful and engaging briefs.
