Art at 33 – Fakhoury

ART AT 33 is a changing sculpture exhibition, showcasing a varied programme of artwork in the reception of 33 Davies Street. The exhibition has been designed to introduce different types of sculpture, techniques and artistic language to tenants and visitors of the building, helping to create an enjoyable and stimulating space.

In its forth year we have extended the programme by inviting the tenants to be more involved in the selection process. The second ‘tenant curators’ continued this new phase of the art programme with a selection of sculptures by Bushra Fakhoury.

Bushra Fakhoury is a London based British sculptor, born in Lebanon She studied art and art education at the American university in Beirut and at the University of London. Her thematic resources are vast and nourished by myths, fables and folklore as well as influenced by her frequent travels.
