Private Collector – Kent

Art Acumen was asked to help with purchasing and commissioning artworks for a client’s new home. We commenced with a meeting at the house to view their existing artwork, assess the space and discuss various ideas. We included an extensive visual imaging session to give us direction for our research and to introduce many different styles and medium to our client. The collection was assembled over a 24 month period which allowed for ideas and tastes to evolve and for the collection to grow organically. Many of the artworks were commissioned, which gave us greater control on scale and colour and created a real connection between the artist and client. We arranged studio visits as well as meetings at the client’s home, with the commissioned artists personally delivering their finished artwork. Here are a couple of them discussing their work in situ.
