Your conversations were captured through workshops and questionnaires led by collaborative poet Beth Calverley. The first illustration in the triptych embodies the here and now, representing individual stories of successes and struggles to live in a more environmentally friendly way. The second illustration is the future, representing thoughts and ideas about a more sustainable world. Finally, the third illustration represents a promise; a contract for direct action.
Dennis is a paper artist, illustrator and storyteller who’s work combines traditional paper cutting with collage to create intricate and exquisitely detailed works of art. Through her work she exemplifies the beauty of nature and our relationship with it. Inspired by Oriental artwork and the precise and intricate art of paper cutting, Sarah creates individually hand-cut pieces using both a craft knife and digital tools to reveal exquisite, delicate detail within the illustration.
