Our brief was to create an art map that would help increase awareness of public art in Torfaen and enable visitors and residents to engage with the work. This was a direct response to an objective of the Heads of the Valley Public Art Strategy; that was to exploit existing assets. Firstly, Art Acumen audited the public artwork in Torfaen and then selected and photographed work for inclusion in the art map. We authored the artists biographies and designed the routes. Finally, we managed the design and production of the printed map.
