Vivid Digital is a competition, exhibition and commissioning programme devised and curated by Art Acumen, in close collaboration with AXA Real Estate. This exceptional project is generously sponsored and hosted by Bevis Marks Development, with support from the British Council Film and Arts Council. The Bevis Marks Development’s sponsorship brought not only substantial acclaim but also a generous cash prize for each competition category, along with technical consultation, PR and marketing support.

The submissions were judged on content (story, creativity, originality, coherence) and overall quality (overall impression, enjoyment, meaningfulness, replay value) by a judging panel made up of a number of reputable names across the creative sector.

We had some fantastic coverage in the press…

“Funding films – never mind getting potential film investors to look at your work – can be a trial for aspiring directors and writers. Enter, then, Vivid Digital. Aside from putting prize money and a commission up for grabs, this new short film competition has the wider aim of showcasing work by up-and-coming film-makers in a location where they could conceivably attract investment for future projects namely, the heart of the city.” Celine Bijleveld, The Guardian https://www.theguardian.com/film/filmblog/2014/feb/08/film-making-short-film-competition-vivid-digital
